Bereits seit den 50er Jahren ist Plastikmodellbau ein beliebtes Hobby für Jung und Alt. Meist handelt es sich hier um Spritzgussbausätze aus Polystyrol, die mit noch vorhandenem Spritzgussrahmen, also wie gefertigt, direkt verpackt werden.
